This medium sized dog life jacket is a great fit on my 50 lb dog. He wear it when we go swimming at home and when he is on the boat. It is adjustable with nylon straps and fits snugly around his torso and neck. Additionally, the straps can be folded up and Velcroed in place to prevent the straps from hanging in the way. The handle is strong to pick him up and out of the water. I live the yellow color as it is easy to see at sea and there are some silver reflective print on the jacket as well.

This is a truly substantial life jacket that provides very good buoyany for our 75 lb Weimaraner. It's somewhat stiff in the all important side and top panels, which makes it a little awkward to put on, but the jacket secures well.What I like so much is that there's plenty of buoyancy, unlike so many vests I've seen. And the bright orange color makes it highly visible. Also there's a very sturdy handle in case you have to "fish" your houd out of the water. I have no worries that our hound will have no trouble staying afloat if she goes overboard on a lake or bay. Everything about this particular jacket is solid.The neck system is very effective. You'll want to adjust it the first time you put it on your dog, but once it's properly secured, I cannot see how the dog could slip out of it. And there's plenty of flotation provided for the neck and head. Of course, breeds differ greatly, but as you can see from the image, this jacket fits our hound without restricting her head movements.I'm not going to deduct a star for this, but the jacket would have been perfect if the floatation chambers were segmented. That would make it easier to put on, like a kid's life jacket. But as it is, this is a superior dog life jacket at a good price. I will be depending on it.

I picked this up for the times my friends bring their dog on the boat. It fits her well with the adjustability of the two straps. It’s made well and seems to be of good quality. The handle on top makes it much easier to lift the puppy back onto the boat without having to get back in the water. It took a little while for the dog to forget it was even on, but once she started associating the life vest with the lake she had no issues. Now she seems to love it and gets excited as soon as we get it out for her.

I have not had a chance to take my dog out to the lake so I cant say how well it works or if it will support my 110 pound rottweilwer in the water but if fits him well. This vest is an extra large and the fit is good but if he was any larger that would be pushing it I think. Hopefully next summer he will get to use it!There's 2 buckles with adjustment under the belly and one at the bottom of the neck which is also adjustable. Thanks for reading.

Although our dog is still somewhat afraid of the water, we wanted to have a life jacket for when she was ready to take the plunge, even if it starts with a tip toe in. The jacket fit loosely and was easily adjusted to her. The life jacket is bright yellow, and has a handle on top to help with pulling your dog out or guiding through the water. She hasn't used it in the water yet, but we're ready.
